I am super excited about this collaboration, you have no idea. I teamed up with GQ and Lacoste to show you guys how I’d style their new (and ridiculously beautiful) L.12.12 sneaker on several occasions. The looks range from casual sportswear for a night out in Brooklyn to office and date night inspirations. They’re most easily combined with the classic Lacoste Polo, which possesses that same minimalistic, inherently classic and refined appeal. Let’s look at the looks one by one.

Office Wear:

Sneakers and suits are a staple at this point, and a simple, sleek, luxurious white sneaker like the L.12.12 is the ideal choice to pair with a suit. The combination of a crisp white button-down and a modern, slim, double-breasted suit lends itself particularly well to be worn with kicks.

Coffee Date:

Meeting a friend for coffee, it’s cold out, you wrap your scarf around and jump in your comfy Lacoste sneakers: easy, versatile, while still leaving you well-dressed. Brighter colored jeans can integrate the white sneakers more easily and make them blend seamlessly.

Fashion Week:

While some sleek new Oxfords might seem like the obvious choice for Fashion Week, they aren’t ideal for hours and hours of walking and standing. Solution: the L.12.12. Sneaker paired with the classic L.12.12 LACOSTE Polo, which perfectly compliment each other’s minimalistic, inherently classic and refined design. Combined these two pieces guarantee that I look professional and stylish enough for the fashion crowd without missing a beat in my hectic schedule.

Date Night:

No need to stop wearing these at night time – use them as a highlight to your outfit and impress your date all dressed up, with a touch of athleticism as a contrast to an otherwise muted outfit.

Night out in BK:

You’re out in Brooklyn with the guys, the night is young, you grab dinner, hit a bar, go dancing – casual. You wear a pair of ripped jeans, bring out your shearling jacket and throw on your L.12.12 sneakers, ready to hit the town.
