It’s summer time, and there aren’t many fabrics better suited for the heat quite like linen. Naturally, I went to Lord & Taylor and picked up this double-breasted beauty from their exclusive line, Black Brown 1826. I combined the faded khaki with a deep reddish, cognac-colored brogued Oxford – a timeless classic – and added a white shirt, unbuttoned and without a tie to give it that nonchalant flair. The only real pop of color that’s going on here is the pocket square that just barely peeks out of its pocket. Lastly, I added the watch to complement the color of the shoes, and you got yourself a nice look; ready to take on the summer season.
