There ain’t nothing like a good amount of stretch in your jeans — oh how I envy all you women, having had the comfort of stretch jeans for years before us men could indulge. I think the industries are converging, with menswear accepting more fabrics which were previously reserved for women’s, while women get more masculine silhouettes among other things. All of this talk because of a new pair of stretch denim I picked up at Express last week, which makes my habit of jumping around on scaffolding oh so much easier. I wore them with a casual shirt, topped off with a beautiful cotton peacoat. Do note that I bought an extra small though, when I would usually get a Medium, so you’re aware if you go shop for yourself. A nice pair of sneakers and a few carefully selected accessories complete this almost monochromatic look, great for anywhere you want to be comfortable but stylish.

Stretch denim is definitely the way to go – a to more comfortable than your traditional 100% cotton pairs.
