I’M WEARING: Coat (Express) / Vest (Forever 21) / Shirt (Armani Exchange) / Pants (Lacoste) / Derbies (Hydrogen-1) / Watch (Daniel Wellington) / Shades (Dharama Eyewear Co.)

It starter out with sneakers and suits, a few people who decided dress shoes aren’t quite comfy enough, and probably didn’t even do it to be especially stylish, but were just too lazy to slip back into the fancy shoes after the gym. Today, the trend of activewear influences on menswear is huge. Two pieces that absolutely incorporate that are my black brogued derbies, for one, and the pants. The derbies, while having a classic upper, actually have a sneaker sole and thus have many of the comfortable qualities of a sneaker. The pants are literally sweatpants. It’s an interlock knit fabric that holds shape nicely, and thus looks quite fancy, but is actually super stretchy and so. Damn. Comfy. I wore this achromatic look with some layers and different shades of grey, overall tying it together by throwing a nice overcoat on top!
