I’ve been meaning to get more into grooming for a while, not only on the blog, but also just personally. I stopped by the Panasonic Beauty Bar on Friday during NYFW and got fantastic new electric shaver, which I took as an incentive to finally put the first comprehensive post of my morning routine together.

After having had a lot of time getting used to the whole beard situation, I’ve now reached the point where I shave or at least touch up every morning — first thing I do actually. I’ve also experimented a lot with different clippers and shavers and what have you, and this one is easily my favorite so far, for wet and dry close shaves, detailing and trimming length with the attachment. All in one, easy to use, and effective.

My skin is pretty sensitive, so right after shaving I like to use a scrub before I hop in the shower. Back out, I brush my hair (hair dedicated post to come soon) and I use the best Aluminum-free deodorant I could find (and I’ve went through many, so trust me on this one). I use an after-shave for sensitive skin, and then prepare my skin for the rest of the day with an Oil Eliminator to reduce shininess, and apply cologne. Aside from the few colognes I’ve featured in detail, I also really enjoy Anvers by Ulrich Lang. If I need to look refreshed, I lastly use an oil to reinvigorates the skin, great for early morning photo shoots 😉
