The Bow Tie Project.

Also Fliegen sind ja schon eine Herausforderung. Stolze 15 Minuten hat es mich gebraucht, damit ich dieses Ding endlich mal gebunden hatte. Jetzt bekomm ich es vermutlich schneller hin, war aber trotzdem eine sehr frustrierende Erfahrung. Gelohnt hat es sich – fühlt sich gut an seine Fliege selbst zu binden, vielleicht mach ich demnächst mal n Video-Tutorial.

Nun ja, wenn wir den Look genauer unter die Lupe nehmen, sehen wir ein mit dem Einstecktuch abgestimmtes Hemd, beider weiss und blau, mit einer blau und weiss gepunkteten Fliege und blauen Socken. Um nicht ganz im Blauen zu verlaufen, hatte ich einen grauen Blazer an und braune Accessoires. Keine Anzughose dazu, sondern eine schmale Raw-Denim Jeans und nen Hut aufgesetzt. Die Uhr ist von Jean Richard, eine Uhrenhersteller aus der Schweiz, der seit neuestem Arsenal F.C. sponsort!

Tying a bow tie may or may not be one of the hardest things I ever had to do in my life, haha. Just kidding. But not really. My first self-tied bow-tie, and yes – I am kind of proud! It’s definitely something a man should learn at some point in his life, because it’s just way classier than a pre-tied one, so maybe I’ll do a tutorial for you guys very soon 🙂

In any case, if we take a closer look at the outfit, we see the coordinated blue and white patterns of the pocket square and the shirt, with a polka-dotted bow-tie, and navy socks. Moving away from navy for a second, we have a grey blazer and brown accessories from hat to shoes. Not a full suit, but combined with a pair of raw-denim jeans, which, together with the hat, great a more laid-back feel. Lastly, I want to take a second to talk about this gorgeous watch by Swiss watch-maker Jean Richard, who just yesterday started sponsoring Arsenal F.C.!
