Christmas Eve — that’s when the real celebration is going down in Germany and many other European countries 😉 There’s not a lot of gift giving going on in our family tonight, which, I think, is kind of a really nice thing, because that usually adds stress and pressure to a day that is all about being together, as a family and on reflect on what’s important in life.
The outfit I have for you today was shot when I was still in NYC; though I’m now in Stuttgart, it felt like this was the perfect Christmas shoot with the bright lights and Christmas-y red tones. This is the first time I’m wearing this outstanding Lubiam coat in a washed out red, and I decided to wear a linen, double-breasted blazer underneath. I know what your thinking: “Linen???” It might traditionally be a summer fabric, but since I was warm wearing it and it worked amazingly with the look there was no need to shy away from it.
Here I am, typing away, ignoring what I just said: today is about family. So I’ll go and join them now, hoping you’ll do the same 😉 MERRY CHRISTMAS!
