Hi all, my name is Marcel Floruss, and I am addicted to coffee. Pretty sure that’s just a New Yorker thing altogether, but with part of my family hailing from Italy, I pretty much have had caffeine running through my veins since the age of 15. Every morning, for the past 6 years, I’ve woken up and half-asleep I managed to walk to my Nespresso machine, pressed that button and started my day. So I am beyond excited to share with you guys that Nespresso is the sponsor for today’s post around giving the gift of coffee.
Last weekend I stopped by Nespresso’s new Madison Avenue boutique to get an early start on my holiday shopping. It wasn’t my first time there, but was my first time truly exploring the store, its set up and having another proper look at the latest machines, since mine has been in business for quite a while.
The flow of the store is wonderful, decorated with art made from recycled Nespresso aluminum, and as you get farther in, you dive deeper into the Nespresso experience. Starting with the limited edition holiday coffees, to a full tasting table, downstairs to an immersive experience where you can take classes and get your coffee game on the next level.
Three different machines stood out, that all embody somewhat different personalities: the Essenza Mini, the CitiZ and the Expert. They are all innovative and beautifully designed machines that turn the click of a button into a cup of high-quality coffee. I’ll dive deeper into the details of the machines in an actual gift-guide that’s coming up soon, but if you’re in New York, I’d suggest you visit the beautiful Upper East Side, and at the center of it, the equally beautiful Nespresso Boutique at 935 Madison Ave, at 74th street 🙂

I love your outfit, Marcel! It looks like you had an awesome time at the event – I have to admit that I’m partial to a good cup of coffee too (who isn’t!? Ha!)
I hope you’ve had a great Monday,
Michael

Really good look Marcel, many people don’t know how to do the pattern on pattern when it comes to shirt and blazer. You did it very well in this look.
Hey Marcel, what brands did you wear during your Nespresso visit?
