I’M WEARING: Blazer (Reiss) / Vest (Asos) / Shirt (Eton) / Pants (J.Lindeberg) / Derbies (Mr. B’s) / Watch (Coach) / Tie (Bows-N-Ties.com)

Something you probably didn’t know about me just yet is that I love dogs — and animals just in general. So I’m wearing this tie today to support Bows-N-Ties.com’s initiative called #DogsnTies to help the San Francisco SPCA, a non-profit organization since 1868  with a vision to end animal abandonment. Read more about the cause and how you can help in the text from Bows-N-Ties:

Each year we at Bows-N-Ties get involved in a charitable cause, and for 2014 we decided to partner with the San Francisco SPCA. To help raise both money and awareness we launched DOGS-N-TIES, a campaign that marries fashion and activism to raise funds for homeless animals. All profits from the sale of these pieces will be donated to the SFSPCA. With your help we are confident that we can reach our goal of raising $30,000 by the Holidays – an amount that is enough to feed 1,000 dogs until they find loving new homes.

Over the last few months our fabric designers created 6 classy designs that are screen printed by hand on the finest silk twill. The fabric is then cut and hand sewn into elegant scarves and handsome ties. Each piece is only made 100 times, and all profits are being donated to the SFSPCA. Purchasing just one of these items will raise enough money to feed a dog for 20 days, which is the average time it takes for one of SFSPCA’s dogs to find a new home.

Show some love and support by sharing the story, or purchasing one (or more 😉 of the items! THANK YOU!
