Ich kann es kaum in Worte fassen, wie schön der letzte Samstag wirklich war. Lisa’s Familie hat uns hier in NYC besucht, weshalb wir gemeinsam die Ikea Fähre (umsonst) nach Brooklyn und zurück gefahren sind und danach direkt auf die Brooklyn Bridge um die Aussicht etwas zu geniessen, bevor wir dann abends auf’s Rockefeller Center sind. Dort war ich schon nciht mehr seit dem Somer 2010, als ich New York das erst Mal besucht hatte und hatte fast schon vergessen wie beeindruckend die Aussicht von dort ist. Was das ganze noch besser gemacht hat, war dass das Wetter mitgespielt hat, weshalb wir auch einen fantastischen Sommeruntergang beobachtet haben – leider hatte ich kein weitwinkliges Objektiv dabei, hab aber trotzdem ein Paar Bilder für euch geschossen 😉

I cannot explain to you how beautiful last Saturday really was. Lisa’s family was in town, so we got together, took a (free) ride on the Ikea ferry to Brooklyn, then made our way over to the Brooklyn bridge and enjoyed the view for a couple of moments, before we then headed on top of the Rockefeller Center. I hadn’t been up there since I first visited NYC in the Summer of 2010, and forgot how absolutely amazing the view is from above. Even more so, the weather was fantastic, leading to an amazing sunset – unfortunately I didn’t have any wide-angle lenses with me, but I included a few for you anyways 🙂
