Man. What a car. Broke my heart to have to give it back. Audi lent me an RS5 convertible for a little while when I was out in LA and I had the absolute best time. Being German, Audi has always been around in my life, and my dad’s Audi was the first car I remember driving in – so lots of sentimental value going on, on top of the absolutely gorgeous aesthetic the brand has developed. Luxury meets sport at the extreme with all of the RS models, and the topless option is literally perfect for the west coast. With a 330 hp turbocharged engine this beast was gone before you realized it. Great handling (that goes for Audi altogether, I’ve driven the R8, the RS7 and now the RS5, it just feels right) and an impeccable driving experience altogether, I can just highly recommend them to anyone.
We took this baby up to Malibu, me being Moti and myself, and grabbed a few amazing shots if I may say so myself. The sunlight was just crazy, and I was wearing black leather chelsea boots, dark raw denim jeans, a navy turtleneck (because it was a tad chilly) and my Brioni blazer — felt like the right choice for a car like this 😉
