I run the marketing club on FIT campus, and yesterday we made a little trip to Doneger’s offices. If you haven’t heard of Doneger, their creative department does a lot of trend analysis and forecasting, you should check them out. We got a wonderful menswear forecast in trends by Tim Bess (@tb3ss on Instagram). Make sure to follow him because his expertise is actually nuts. One thing he talked about for the current season were all over animal prints and paisley prints. He accidentally thought mine was animal, as did a few other people that day, and it really made me appreciate this Topman shirt so much more. From farther away it looks like a leopard and is actually a paisley, how cool is that?!

In this case I wore it under my navy Hugo Boss blazer. Still one of the greatest second hand finds ever made at Buffalo Exchange. The pants are from Zara, super comfy, slim fitting stretch chinos for a very decent price. They still have them in stores right now. Mr. B’s from Aldo are always a safe bet to round off an outfit, in this case together with my Club Monaco pocket square and this unbranded bag that I found in some corner of a sample sale – I love it.
