Bright Weather: White Leather

In womenswear we’ve been seeing a lot of leather. The same goes for menswear but was more restricted to details – the flip-side of a collar, patches on the shoulder or on the inside of pockets. It’s becoming a lot more obvious now, and details turn into garments of leather. As for color, you’re going to see it first in the more neutral colors and then expanding into colored leather. Since it was a wonderfully spring-y day, I wanted to wear my white leather pants.

I got these awesome motorcycle pants from my internship at Diesel last fall. The brand has worked with Ducati in the past and therefore gained a lot of knowledge about leather construction. The detail in the back of the knees looks awesome and makes them incredibly comfy to wear even when bending your legs, and the exposed zippers are just insane. This was the first time I dressed them up, which had never come to mind before. Rolled up to the ankles, combine with navy loafers and a classic, olive green suede bomber and the look is quite different than if you wore them with boots and a leather jacket. The tee keeps it casual – I love it’s blue color and the star print is totally awesome. The shades I borrowed from Lisa, and I kinda fell in love with their edgy look that still goes with anything, basically.
