Colorblocked Simplicity

The attire: Cardigan – Marc By Marc Jacobs // Tee – Buffalo by David Bitton // Pants – H&M // Shoes – Dr. Scholl’s Shoes // Plate Necklace – Buffalo Exchange // Dagger Necklace – Brooklyn Flea

Today we’re keeping it simple and casual …

… after all it was a “Sunday”-kinda look. Often you don’t have to wear a button-down or even a blazer to make a dressy impression. A cardigan, which, let’s face it, is just way more comfortable, can also do the trick. This spring we see a lot of colorblocking, so I busted out my tricolor Marc by Marc Jacobs blazer. How to make it work, you ask? Let’s see:

What I did with this awesome silk cotton cashmere blend cardigan, is wear it over a very simple, but not at all boring Buffalo by David Bitton Tee. I really like the shirt, because of its very chill look, caused by the loose cut. I wore this combo on top of slim navy H&M slacks and topped them of with casual beige Dr. Scholl’s Shoes. A lot of you might connect the name to just the insoles, but they actually make really cool shoes also – and they come with the insoles, hence with comfort! Lastly I wore two of my silver necklaces in combination, the dagger from the Brooklyn flea and the plates from Buffalo Exchange.

We all love the look of a suit, I’m assuming, but on a Sunday, you can go casual – try it if you dig it!
