Brand-Talk: Blazer – H&M // Sweater – Michael Kors // Tank – Allsaints // Jeans – H&M // Boots – Philip Lim
Simple, black, grunge-y. I wasn’t feeling too much color this past Saturday and went with a mainly black out, just popping red in the accessories. As you know, the blog is called One Dapper Street; I just want to remind you that one of my main focuses as represented by my personal style, is how to combine “dapper” and “street” styles. Like here:
We have a double breasted, black blazer – pretty freaking classy. Yet, worn unbuttoned with an oversized T peaking out underneath a casually loose knit sweater you get a way different feel. Skinny tie-dye jeans in black and dark blue start cresting a grunge feeling, a little rocker and a little edgy. The shoes are literally the death of me. My best friend found these PHILIP LIM’s at Buffalo Exchange. Yes, he did it again. I love the combination of having a boot, with raise soles, the strap across but still the fringes in the front. Red pocket square in unison with the double-breasted blazer, and combine that tartan plaid with a striped pattern of the same color combo in the bag and you’ve got yourself a coherent look, juxtaposing street and chic attire. The glasses help.
AMAZING LOOK. I LIKE YOUR SUNGLASES
