Spring – so close, yet so far.
I personally couldn’t wait any longer, here’s what I did. I really wanted to wear a tank top, since it was sunny out and at least somewhat warm. Turns out it wasn’t quite warm enough – ha. So I just layered another, tighter fitting tank underneath. I like that it peaks out at certain times, it keeps you warm but you still get the cool, loose look of the tank top. Worn underneath a blazer and trenchcoat, you’ll not only stay warm, but get a little summer feeling plus a cool combination of looks.
My tank happens to be from the store I stand in front of – Allsaints in SoHo. The tanktop underneath is from the H&M Basics section. The olive blazer is from Marc by Marc Jacobs and I’m wearing it with my khaki Uniqlo trench. The double monkstraps are also from Allsaints, and the skinny jeans from H&M.
I liked the casual, but still dapper look of the ensemble, combining a maybe a little premature tank with blazer and trench.
