I love color. It’s quite obvious I know. With every outfit I get a little more daring and a little more confident. This one was definitely a head-turner though. Same concept as in the  “Another Marc” outfit post – statement pants, dressed down with neutrals. This time a little more dressy than casual.

Starting with the idea of wearing all Marc by Marc Jacobs, I wanted to wear the pants they gave me – hot. Pink. Pants. “Challenge accepted!” The only thought that crossed my mind. It was spring-y out today so I took a shot. Cream colored knit Marc sweater, and navy Marc Jacobs loafers. I accessorized a lot in this look. Several bracelets from Tevin Vincent and H&M, and a watch on my wrist; bag in my hand; and headphones around my neck. I felt as though the olive green, large headphones added a little bit of masculinity to the look. In any way, the reaction was quite diverse, ranging from amazed looks of appreciation to “Dude, what are you doing?”-kind-of-looks.

I had a fun time anyways and I received a couple compliments also. The other day I posted on Instagram, a quote by Jack Kerouac – “Great things are not accomplished by those who follow fads and trends and popular opinion.” Ya feel me?
