Mother’s Day Away From Home

The look: Jacket – Asos // Polo Shirt – Asos // Pocket Square – Asos // Pants – Buffalo by David Bitton // Boat Shoes – n.d.c. // Shades – Tevin Vincent // Skull Bracelet – Tevin Vincent // String Bracelet – Tevin Vincent // Ivory Look Bracelet – H&M

This is the outfit I wore on Mother’s Day last sunday. Honestly, every day is as good as the other to show your affection towards your dearest, never the less we obviously think about it more consciously. And even though I love living here, and love what I do, I do miss my family and my friends back home. Since I couldn’t be home on Sunday, I dedicate this post to my mom – you’re the best mom out there and I have no idea where I would be if it wasn’t for you. Definitely not living my dream though. Thank you!! <3
And since this is a menswear blog – let’s talk fashion:
The strongest statement here are probably the bright and intensely mint green jeans by Buffalo Jeans. Slim fit and great color this season, if you ask me. The bleached denim jacket works great with the big paisley print on the navy polo, and the pocket square just takes it over the top, combining the white and blue tones and capturing the mood in the roughness of the fabric. All Asos, obviously. My navy n.d.c. boat shoes seemed to be the obvious way to go, as my Mom had bought them for me a few years ago – I hope she still likes them just as much. Generally, I also try to rotate through all my shoes on a regular basis. I used to always stick to one pair for like two weeks – apparently that changed. Ha. Accessories are by Tevin Vincent for the most part, aside from the ivory-look H&M Bracelet. We have a matte black stone bracelet with one silver skull. Fricking awesome. And what I also fell in love with in his online store were the red, white and blue bracelet and these dapper shades.
We all know that we dress up for the people we want to impress every now and then. And how fun it can be…
