NYC Through My Eyes

Yesterday I had a casting for Versace – yes, I almost dropped dead even being considered. So my motivation in the morning was to kind of go for a Versace summer look. Now I don’t own anything Versace (so it was even more fun trying on those suits 😉 but what I had was an idea of what it should look like – classy, simple, fitted, manly and to the point.

Having this in mind I started the outfit with my white Hugo Boss shirt. Can’t go wrong with a white, fitted long-sleeve dress shirt, top two buttons unbuttoned for that legere look. I wanted to combine it with black but it was super nice out (thank you.) and I went for the alternative. Navy blazer, also by Hugo Boss. In order to keep it a little brighter I wore my slim Zara chinos and matched the blazer with my Marc Jacobs loafers. The glasses are from John Varvatos and the pocket square I got at Scoop NYC, just to add a little more color to it.

Just because you don’t own anything by a certain designer, doesn’t mean you can’t go for that designers look! Let them be your inspiration.
