Hi there Fashion People!!

On this lovely and sunny Tuesday morning,  I decided that I wanted to wear my relatively light quilted Zara jacket. I love it for several reasons – it is somewhat of a mesh between a blazer and a jacket; it is totally trending right now that quilt is so big, and you can combine it with many things, since its a neutral brown with a suede finish. I chose to wear it with my khaki, slim Chino’s, which also happen to be from Zara. A white shirt from Hugo Boss serves as the basis of the look and is simple enough to work with the bright and colorful Marc By Marc Jacobs cardigan I’m wearing underneath – one of the perks of interning for an amazing fashion corporation. (Silk-Cotton-Cashmere Mix, if you could only feel through the internet.) My cognac Aldo wingtips decorated my feet and I chose to repeat the read accent in the socks from Uniqlo. Since – if you know NYC – this outfit is way to cold in early march, whether the sun is out or nor, I topped it off with a dark brown knit-scarf from H&M.

This Cardigan, especially in combination with the socks, acts as a great example of how to easily spice up an otherwise neutrally brown outfit, and make it a little more spring-y.
