Shades of grey, shades of blue ..

Shoes, shoes, shoes …

… how I wish we had as much variety in shoes as women. Yet we do see more and more new creations in mens footwear that we had not seen before. One of the trends that started catching on a few seasons ago are plateau soles underneath dress shoes.

These Prada triple foam sole, knit leather shoes inspired the look – they determined the color scheme for the major part. Shades of grey and shades of blue – therefore I’m wearing my H&M jeans, that have a mix between blue and black, and on the reverse, they even have a touch of grey (visible where rolled up). The printed shirt is by Diesel and works well with that theme, having a blue base with white and black little squares. On top of that goes my Uniqlo knit Blazer, wonderfully fitted and still insanely comfortable, since it is very stretchy. To top it off, I went with this jacket by Marni for H&M, which has amazing details. Those who know me know I now like to accessorize – necklace from a vendor at the Brooklyn Flea, flower print pocket square from Topman, red socks from Uniqlo and my red and green striped duffle bag from Marc by Marc Jacobs.

I know it’s hard to find a great pair of these shoes for decent money (I got mine in a second hand store – UNUSED!!!), but he who seeks shall find. Let them inspire your outfit.
