So on top of the whole “denim on denim” thing ..
.. you gotta work your denim pieces individually, too. I got this denim shortsleeve shirt at Topman a couple of season ago. This season, if you walk in there and want to buy a Tee, you will find that most of them have the sleeves rolled up and sewn. Inspired by this little trend I rolled my sleeves up, but I added a little twist to it. I wore another t-shirt underneath, striped dark green and grey, and let it peak out just a little to add extra interest to the sleeve, as soon as the denim jacket comes off.
Outfit: Topman made the denim jacket as well as the denim shirt. Chucks are obviously Converse, and I personally love this color for the spring time, especially this season. The shirt is a basic from Zara, which I bought in XL to give it kind of that oversized, chill look. The checkered pants are from Diesel – awesome pants, very different than any other pants I own. Their cut is a little twisted and O-shaped, as well as relatively short. Their super light fabric makes them an awesome pair of spring/summer pants.
Find a way to work your denim pieces – layer them with more denim, roll them up, and/or wear something patterned underneath!
great look, I especially love the pants!
