I know just yesterday I was talking about how I have been longing for a shearling jacket for over a year, but today I have to do the same thing to this belted cardigan robe. This has quickly developed into one of my favorites, incorporating British elegance and a modern gentlemanliness as perfected by the British clothing label Reiss. Leave it to the Brits to nail a piece like this. The way I decided to wear it starts with the way I belted it, off-centered and one loop. This casual vibe continues with the unbuttoned micro-printed dress shirt, harshly emphasized by the destroyed denim jeans. The accesories tie everything back together, from the suede chelsea boots to the portfolio case to make the overall look rather elegant, and thus the jeans the stand-out piece to pull it in another direction. It’s “Dapper Street” for a reason, right!?
