London is easily one of my favorite cities on this planet — so naturally I jumped on the last-minute opportunity to go there when the British heritage brand Alfred Dunhill extended an invitation. Upon arrival I got settled into my room at the EDITION Hotel and left soon after to take a look at Bourdon House, the London home of the dunhill brand. Already from the outside it incorporates what the brand is about and has stories dating back to the late 18th century. Once inside, you find yourself surrounded by some of the most prestigious, and well-crafted clothes and leather goods in London. From suede jackets to traditional tailoring and playfully displayed accessories, dunhill appeals to every gentleman.

Once upstairs one can find beautiful archive pieces, as well as spa and barber services. Around the corner is the tailoring room, where the Bespoke and Made to Measure magic happens. We used it temporarily as a fitting room to find a couple of looks for the few days that I would be in London, and after exploring the rest of the house, namely the cellar bar and screening room, I was all set to hit the streets of London.

My friend Jonathan Pryce took a few photos of my outfit: I decided to make a statement with these luxurious Bordeaux colored pants, and contrasted them with a light-colored suede jacket. Later that night it was time to get dressed up for the dunhill presentation — time for the three-piece suit. And with my newfound buddy Jim Chapman, I strolled around the presentation, taking in all the beautiful menswear, presented at The Savile Club in the most fitting way (my personal highlight being the English bulldog, which I ironically didn’t take a photo of ’cause I was too busy petting him).

All in all a fantastic weekend in London surrounded by great people and impeccable menswear — just the way I like it 😉
