While enjoying this beautiful time with the family during the holidays in Germany’s Black Forest, New York still remains to fascinate me. We took these shots a couple of days before we headed to Europe, and I had until that point never used something so distinctly characteristic of New York: steam. Don’t ask me where it comes from, I knew once upon a time, but I forgot, and maybe we’ll just leave it be the beautiful accessory it is to New York’s streets 😉

I haven’t worn the leather jacket in quite some time, but on that day it seemed to be the perfect choice to round out the color combination for this look. Another piece I’d like to call your attention to is a special, new watch: one arm only, and inspired by race car tachometers. How does a one-armed watch work, you ask? Basically, you just read the time in 5-minute steps — and let’s be honest. That’s what we do anyways. And it looks a tad cleaner, ha. They’re currently having an amazingly successful Kickstarter crowd-funding campaign, so take a look, it’s definitely something different to spice up you wardrobe!
