Yesterday was a wonderful day: after almost half a year I finally got to hang out with my family again. This is the second time my parents have visited me here in NYC since I made the move now almost 3.5 years ago (of course I went home now and again in the mean-time ;). After walking around for a little bit we went to the Mercer Kitchen for a fantastic brunch and then enjoyed the newly extended Highline Park on New York’s West Side. All in all, a wonderful day, and I wore an outfit that was warm, comfy, and transitioned easily from brunch into the late night, for dinner at Chalk Point Kitchen and a nice drink with a view on The Jimmy at The James, a rooftop bar right off of Canal Street! 🙂
