I still remember the first time I walked into the Jack & Jones store on the Königsstraße (“the king’s street”) in my home town in Germany. At the time I must’ve been around 14 years old and I completely feel for the graphic t-shirts, the boots and jeans, leather jackets and sweater … you get the idea. I’ve grown a lot since then, (luckily … puberty and all) and so did Jack & Jones. This Fall/ Winter season I have the insane honor of being included in their global #GoForGreat campaign. That means that my pictures are all over the store I once walked into when I was barely a teenager. Tell me that’s not insane.
The outfit I’m wearing here is from their PREMIUM by JACK & JONES collection, which is more mature and refined in a lot of ways. The suit fits impeccably without any tailoring, and the navy speckled fabric makes it a wonderful go-to for the fall. Its fit allows for it to be dressed up or down, while I decided to go for the former in this scenario: clean, sleek black Chelsea boots from our Ankari Floruss launch collection, and a simple, grey turtleneck, also from PREMIUM by JACK & JONES. I have a fairly long neck, to point out the obvious, and usually go for a longer neck with turtle necks, but in this case I decided to try the shorter one, which has been a trending style as of late, and I actually really liked it. I think it looks more formal than the chunkier ones with more excess fabric, and is actually a great option for guys with shorter necks, that don’t usually opt for a turtleneck.
Overall, I think the look is a wonderful, simple, and elegant look for the colder season upon us, and offers a great alternative to the classic suit, shirt and tie combination.
