White in the winter has always been such a taboo for me and I really don’t know why. Or a taboo in general I guess, but it’s time to stop that. I got the idea for this look when I was strolling through Macy’s, where they had a mannequin with white pants, a camel coat and black boots, and immediately loved it. I decided to add a blazer that I found a few minutes later: $225 for an amazing mesh Vince Camuto jacket.

I thought you guys might enjoy that, so I figured I’d do some shopping for you and find more awesome blazers for less than $250 at Macy’s. Like this beautiful velvet dinner jacket, or if you’re more into some pattern, there’s two gorgeous options from Tallia, an olive-colored window-pane jacket, or rather this brown-blue checked blazer? Here’s another window-pane option, while Ralph Lauren is getting a little more creative with the pattern. If you want to keep it conservative, this Bar III Tweed jacket might be the way to go, or if you’re the exact opposite, this Kenneth Cole blazer might be up your alley.
