My Favorite Time A Year

Oh fall – thou art a beautiful, magnificent thing. My favorite season of the year, talking from a fashion perspective. More layering, more fabrics, lots of neutral colors, in one word: awesome. Here I’m wearing a sweater from Buffalo Jeans, in a great dark red melange color, with grey and cream ribbing. On top of that, a quilted, dark grey vest, with brown faux-suede leather patches. The combination with the pants works nicely, since the vest is a few shades darker than the grey of the pants. By the way, I am obsessed with these pants; they’re part of the H&M MauritzArchive Collection that is currently in stores. It shows off that Hennes & Mauritz (yes, that’s what H&M stands for) know real menswear, remembering the days when they were just a little store. I also have the suit jacket, you’ll get to see that once it’s a little colder. The pants have a subtle detail at the lower end, a piped hem, which lies on these awesome fall boots. Ahnu makes shoes that combine fashion with outerwear functionality, inspired by the wonderful hobby of hiking. How’s that for a first true fall look?
