Heute haben wir was ganz Besonderes am Start, weil’s so nen Mantel echt nicht so oft gibt: ein knalliges Orange auf dem Umschlag. Ich hab mich in das Ding verliebt, in dem Moment als ich den Mantel das erste Mal gesehen hab. Die Verarbeitung der Nähte auf der Innenseite ist Dunkelgrün, was lustigerweise genau die Farbpalette von meinen Regenstiefeln ist – beige, grün und etwas orange. Sowohl Trench Coat als auch Regenstiefel waren definitiv von Nöten an jenem Regnerischen Tag in New York. Auch der Pullover und die Uhr waren farblich abgestimmt und der dunkele Hintegrund war ideal um das Outfit isoliert wirken zu lassen.

Sometimes you just need a coat with bright orange details to stand out. I fell in love with the coat, the minute I saw it in all its beauty. The piping on the inside is actually olive green, making the coat a perfect match for my rain boots, which also happened to be the ideal gear overall for a rainy NYC. I embraced the color palette, went with an olive jumper, and wore my khaki and orange, over-sized Diesel watch. The black, very dark background seemed to be the perfect canvas for such a bright look, to emphasize its poppiness.
