Winter Skin Care For Everyone (… especially guys!)

Taking good care of your skin should be a year round objective, but it becomes particularly important in winter. Even if you don’t like using products on your daily routine — especially all the guys reading this right now — winter is a time where it’s a must! The wind, cold and lack of moisture can have a real unpleasant impact in your skin.

Here’s the products I use, to hydrate, soften and protect me from the harsh winter conditions our skin has to endure!

Starting off with the most important product you can get for your skin: a good moisturizer. Again, even if you don’t have a skin care routine, you should make an exception at least for this one product.

I use Dermalogica Intensive Moisture Balance, which has antioxidant enzymes that help shield your skin from the environmental assault it’ll suffer through winter and at the same time smoothies the appearance of dry lines and skin damage! Use it morning and night, but can reapply any time you feel like you need moisture (because you will!)

Now if you’re like me and you want to have baby skin even in winter (going that extra mile) lets talk about serums. Serums should be applied directly to your face (you don’t want to lose precious product between your fingers) before the moisturizer to deliver the ingredients straight into your skin.
