Juxtaposed.

I honestly forgot how good sales at Zara are. Especially this season, all the dope stuff seems to be left over – in my size! Thank you fashion god. Part of that shopping treasure were these lightly plaid slacks. Navy, slim fit and just awesome with the dark grey plaid. I wore them with my cream-colored …

Trefoil Arch

As my buddy Moti and I were strolling through Central Park to find a location for our outfit shoot of the day, Brandon found us. Who is Brandon you ask? Oh, only the blogger for HONY – Humans Of New York. Since I moved to NYC and had first stumbled upon it, it was a tiny dream of mine to be on …

Grand White Central

All white. Haven’t ever done that before I think. I took a white shirt, with white jeans on a super sunny day, and then merely accentuated with brown in the belt, the watch, the bracelet and most obviously the shoes. Even though it’s a little out of my comfort zone, I ironically felt pretty comfortable in all white in front of the beauty that is Grand Central Station.

Summer Layers

The other day I’ve realized how happy I am, that I now am into tying shirts and sweaters around my waist. I love layering, and that’s why I love the fall and spring seasons. But once you’re used to that and like it, it is the perfect way to layer in the summer without being hot.

Nobody’s Home

Sometimes I like to stay away from prints, and just work with color, silhouette and fabrication. Starting with the sweater, a beautiful soft light blue, in a beautiful bamboo nylon fabric that doesn’t only feel amazing but drapes so beautifully on the body. On top of that, a perfectly constructed blazer in olive green.

Pink Thomas

Thomas Pink. Talk about a brand with fantastic trending while staying classic, with superior fit and top-notch quality fabrics. The shirt has incredible detail to its weave and a very luxurious hand. Just as the blazer, it fit perfectly and worked so well together with it. I chose to dress it down a tad – daring I know, dressing down a cufflink shirt.

I Found a New Balance

In LOVE with my new New Balance sneakers. Ran around the city looking for the right size, and got lucky at Bloomingdales in SoHo, getting 25% off because of the current sale they’re having. Just like yesterday, the shoes inspired the outfit. Mostly so, the choice of shirting.

Bass Shoes

G. H. Bass & Co., an American shoe legacy since the 1870’s, focusing on a quality men’s dress shoe. And guess what? They’re actually affordable. I stumbled upon them a while ago and you can obviously make out the styles that I personally have worn (mostly because I’m in the them, ha), and …

Brooklyn Suburbia

Ahhh – I love thrift shopping. These awesome Nikes I found at Buffalo Exchange and they inspired the color and style of this look. And I’ve been trying to find awesome ones for so long. 19 bucks. Boomtown! Anyway, a blue denim shortsleeve shirt over a navy T, with a graphic print and bright yellow text.

Kent & Curwen

Last Saturday, my friends Moti and Saul (The Metro Man and Trend Styled, respectively) and I were invited to Kent & Curwen’s collection presentatoin at the SoHo house. In an outstanding surrounding, where even the bartender was dressed on point and in sync with the brand, we gazed upon the beauty of some key looks of the Fall 2013 collection.
