I’m wearing: G&B Wishing Bone Necklace // G&B Braided Hex Bracelet
I was invited to the studio of Giles & Brother today for the presentation of the new collection. The brand is amazing – having launched in 2001, Giles & Brothers design and manufacture all of their merchandise here in the city. Their men’s accessories are expanding and you can find bracelets, necklaces and key chains there. The inspiration here was clearly industrial, with nuts, braided hexes and bent nails, but also cultural. Overall it was a fun time to look around, and it was a pleasure meeting designer Philip in person.

Ich war heute zu Giles & Brother ins Studio eingeladen, um ein Auge auf die neue Kollektion zu werfen. Die Marke ist echt klasse – in 2001 haben sie das Geschäft eröffnet und seitdem hat Giles & Brother ihr Design und ihre Produktion in NYC. Männer Accessoires sind schwer am kommen bei der Firma und man findet coole Armbänder, Ketten und Schlüsselanhänger.. Diese Kollektion ist offensichtlich industriell inspiriert, mit Muttern und gebogenen Nägeln, aber hat auch kulturelle Einflüsse. Insgesamt war es echt cool rumzuschlagen, und ich hab auch Designer Philip persönlich kennen gelernt.
