Miraflores

Miraflores, probably the most beautiful part of the city of Lima. We enjoyed being in the area, close to all the things we “needed” like a grocery store with fresh (amazing) fruit, the park on the coastline and the Inca Market, where we did some of our souvenir shopping and haggling.

PLYMOUTH

Sergio Davila is simply amazing. He invited Lisa and I into the warmth of his home on the beach of Punta Hermosa, a lovely little beach/surf town, home to world champions in surfing. We took three bikes and biked around the area, when we stumbled upon this beautiful youngtimer by Plymouth.

Sandcastle

On the second to last day of our trip to Peru, we went to the Punta Hermosa, a beautiful beach town, which is home to the female world champion of surfing. It’s a wonderfully calm area, with dazzling mansions along the beach and cliff, and as we were walking along the water, one of those places served as our location …

off the cliff

Houses right on the cliff, which is decorated by the beautiful flowers of Lima – a well known picture, especially if you’ve ever googled “Lima”. What’s wonderful about that, is that it’s fairly easily accessible for a regular person, and you don’t have to fly a helicopter to get that same view of the skyline, like many other pictures of other skylines 🙂 …

green grass

When you shoot every day, obviously you gotta keep things fresh in terms of photography, so here we played around a little bit with Nikon’s 24-70mm f/2.8 that I borrowed from Borrow Lenses. It’s a great lens, which I probably wouldn’t use every day though, that’s why I love renting gear.

Straight Forward

Straight forward, as the title suggests. Dark brown waistcoat and blazer together with a basic white dress-shirt and staple raw denim jeans. The grey bag works well as a neutral and the accents go with …

#equipped

#Equipped for a day in SoHo, NYC. Don’t worry, there’s still a lot more looks to come from Peru, but I still had one saved for you from New York 😉 For me this is the perfect look for a spring-y day in SoHo, with a few meetings and a lot of walking.

Escaleras

If there’s one color I’d have to pick for this season, it would probably be rose. Why? Well, we haven’t seen a lot of this faded rose color in the past, but I, personally, am absolutely digging it for this spring. It’s new, it’s fresh and quite easily combined with other colors.

La Catedral del Cuzco

The first day in Cuzco was absolutely beautiful. The former capital of the Incas, 500 years ago, really is astonishing in the sense of architecture, culture and of course – the food. We have the pleasure to be staying in the …

6 pm, Lima

Ahhhh Lima – warm weather, magnificent food and strikingly beautiful sunsets. The first look we shot right around the time when the sun set, and I was wearing something very chill, and heavy on florals. I am absolutely loving the black floral shoes, and this summer season it’s going to be all about nicely fitting chinos like these for me.
