Scarves and dark colors and warm and beautiful fabrics – I’ve been going on about how awesome fall (/ basically already winter) is for a little while now, I hope I can show you why.
Since I have been wearing a lot of blazers lately, I have been trying on several options for what to wear underneath each and every one of them. Here, I decided to go with a dark brown, high crew neck sweater.
Man it got cold, especially when your barber decided to make you sides real short – all of a sudden you feel that freezing breeze, ha. So what we have here is a very dark look if closed, all black, but once you open the jacket you get fall-y brown tones, that go with the brown watch and the sole of the shoes.
I kind of just ran out the house today – I actually didn’t even want to shoot what I was wearing, but Lisa liked it, so we did anyway. And I’m kind of glad we did! It was fun shooting and I did like how the pictures turned out.
Man, it sure has been a while since I wore Timberland boots. The last time was probably when I was fifteen, because they were really trending in my environment in Germany back then, ha. Then, I had baby blue colored ones. Thank god that’s not the case anymore.
Fall kind of finally has made it to NYC also, and what you see up there is the result of that. Muted colors, grey and black and just a bordeaux beanie to add some color, and stay warm!
Here I went for a very casual combination, playing a lot off of a very fall-inspired color palette. I liked combining the denim shirt with a more chic blazer – I thought it created a nice contrast, which is then carried on by the modernly cut cargo pants, and the wing-tipped boots.
Black, blue and grey. A very subtle look, like I’ve been styling them quite a lot lately. This is all about the trench coat for me – I scored it at 60% off at Zara last July and it’s been sitting in my closet, ready to be worn the entire time. Navy and black used to be a no-go for me, I can’t really tell you why.
Ahhh, the classic. A pop of color. In this case, the color is red. Who’d have thought. In any case, I tried to keep it dark, subtle and with a focus on silhouette, so the color really pops out. I integrated the dark green accent to the red, in the bag as well as the pocket square …
