In the past few years, we’ve seen a movement away from the very strict suit, tie, shirt combination, and the modern man’s daily uniform has become a lot more casual and unique to his own style. That does not mean that we can’t still wear the dress shirts we love so much and just give them a little bit more of a casual touch and we used to. Today, in partnership with OLYMP, I want to show you 5 different shirts, styled without a tie, ready for a myriad of occasions.
The easiest thing to do is to simply ditch the tie and unbutton a couple of the top buttons. Here we have a gorgeous, classic light blue OLYMP No. Six shirt under a navy suit, styled exactly that way, and rounded out with a pair of white sneakers.
Next up a linen shirt… Actually two linen shirts, but let’s start with the white one: the OLYMP Level Five linen shirt is intrinsically more casual than your average cotton shirt, a great way to dress it down is untucking it, and wearing it with a blazer and raw denim jeans, rather than a full suit.
The other OLYMP linen shirt featured in today’s post has a beautiful blue color, which is just peaking out underneath the OLYMP Level Five sweater, another way to easily style a dress shirt more relaxed. Keep the shirt tucked in, throw a sweater up top, unbutton the cuffs and push up the sleeves a bit, a pair of dark jeans work just as well here.
Sticking with the blue story, we have a very sleek navy No. Six shirt from OLYMP next, an easy solution to the challenge is simply untucking the shirt, rolling up the sleeves, but maybe adding a pair of white jeans to make the whole look a little bit more interesting.
Last but not least, we have an achromatic look, combining a grey cardigan and a darker grey No. Six shirt, both from OLYMP, with a pair of black jeans and Chelsea boots. A cardigan, especially a slim fitting blazer cardigan like this, can be another great way to tone things down, while still working with the classiness of the dress shirt.
I hope you enjoyed the post today, and if you’re in Europe you’re lucky enough to shop any of the above from the Olymp website 😉

Sorry, I am really sorry, but I will never wear sneakers with a jacket or a blazer. I know is trendy, fashionable, modern or any other good thing you can say about this trend. In fact I pray that this tendance get an end soon.
I think this habit of athleisure (is this correctly written?) is a collective error that would never happened.

The first picture with the dark suit and light shirt… and those white sneakers. WHY? Why the white sneakers haha? It looks horrible!
The others don’t look quite so bad though. I’m a fan of the black shirt with light pants for sure.
