I don’t think it’s a secret anymore that Burberry is one of my favorite brands out there, and I have super exciting news for you guys: if you’re ever in town, down in SoHo at 131 Spring Street, there’s now a new Burberry store! I don’t know if you’ve ever had the pleasure of visiting their flagship store in London, which is basically the epitome of retail development in the fashion industry, but aside from the big store, all retail stores really have a great concept and make shopping so much more of an experience than just strolling around. From live broadcast of events to advanced stock strategies using iPads to more traditional services like in-house alterations and multilingual sales personnel (10 languages!!), Burberry’s got it all. You may or may not know that my Bachelor’s degree is in fashion merchandising, so I’m kind of a geek when it comes to retail strategies, and this brand just sets the bar. High. You have my word! So go check out the new store if you get a chance, tell them I sent you 😉
