I’ve been framed

I don’t do this very often, the whole casual “I-don’t-care-what-color-it-is-and-whether-it-perfectly-matches”-kind of thing. As a matter of fact, I woke up in the morning, got dressed, and was wearing exactly 2 colors: the blazer I had on, was the one that belongs with the chinos,

Rock Center

What I thought about the most in this look, was the whole combination of various blue tones, spiked with a little purple here and there, and offset that with black contrasts, as well as a blazer, that is basically white. I started out with the light blue shirt, when a couple of shades darker …

Down under the Brooklyn Bridge

Still probably my favorite spot in NYC: the waterfront in Dumbo. No matter who comes to visit, this is where I take them, and this is where I go if I just want to enjoy the magnitude of NYC’s skyline’s gorgeousness. I was wearing a suit, but comfy with the sneakers, ’cause we did quite …

Punta Hermosa

This is the last look we shot in Peru, on the last day there, when we were still in Punta Hermosa, right next to the beach. I think the cardigan is super fun to play around with, and the idea of wearing cardigans without anything underneath is kind of growing on me, because it’s more …

Leather and Gold

I cannot explain to you how beautiful last Saturday really was. Lisa’s family was in town, so we got together, took a (free) ride on the Ikea ferry to Brooklyn, then made our way over to the Brooklyn bridge and enjoyed the view for a couple of moments, before we then headed on top …

Discovering Machu Picchu

What an amazing day it was. Lisa and I were, of course, both very excited to get to see one of the new world wonders, Machu Picchu, during our time in Peru. From Cusco, it’s about 3.5 hours to get all the way to the top of the mountain: first, you take a 1.5 hour car ride through the …

I scream for Ice Cream

Generally, I’m really not much of an ice-cream person. When I have it I like it, but I just rarely have it. On a sweater, though, I can’t really get enough of it. Like – come on, how dope is this motif? Haha. I decided to dress it down and fairly comfortably with jeans, …

Miraflores

Miraflores, probably the most beautiful part of the city of Lima. We enjoyed being in the area, close to all the things we “needed” like a grocery store with fresh (amazing) fruit, the park on the coastline and the Inca Market, where we did some of our souvenir shopping and haggling.

PLYMOUTH

Sergio Davila is simply amazing. He invited Lisa and I into the warmth of his home on the beach of Punta Hermosa, a lovely little beach/surf town, home to world champions in surfing. We took three bikes and biked around the area, when we stumbled upon this beautiful youngtimer by Plymouth.

Sandcastle

On the second to last day of our trip to Peru, we went to the Punta Hermosa, a beautiful beach town, which is home to the female world champion of surfing. It’s a wonderfully calm area, with dazzling mansions along the beach and cliff, and as we were walking along the water, one of those places served as our location …
