Riding season is almost over and it’s breaking my heart. In New York that is… BUT. Lisa and I actually spent most of our time in LA last week to find the perfect apartment on the other side of the US — we’re getting a second place in DTLA!!! I’m super excited to open a new chapter, get to know new people and start another network out on the West Coast.

Why, you ask? Well, for one, if you’ve experienced NYC winters, you know how excruciatingly freezing they can get these days, especially dragging out into my once beloved spring season in NYC, which now is not more than a week in April. Secondly, I can drive my motorcycle year-round. Maybe that should’ve been on first place actually. Also: a car makes sense out there. I was born and raised in Germany, grew up with cars since I’m from Stuttgart, home of Mercedes and Porsche, and definitely miss them a ton in New York, where you really just don’t need one unless you’re The Metro Man 😉 The reasons keep coming though, from a ton of couple friends, to cat lovers, to a potential career in acting (very, very early stage, but if anywhere I gathered in LA), to endless road-trip opportunities, LA seemed, and still does seem, to be the perfect choice for a second place.

I was thinking about riding my motorcycle out to there. Just me, no Instagram, no blogging, no internet; just my motorcycle, my camera and the road for a few days. Would you guys forgive me if I took off for a little while? I think you all know how one can appreciate a digital detox, and I feel like it might just be that time for me. If you lament very openly, I might get something set up to keep posting, even when I’m not on my computer or iPhone haha.

Anyways, the outfit is pretty much as classic a biker outfit as it gets. Black moto jacket, a sweater (since it is getting a little colder), black denim and dope black boots. Ya dig? Leave a comment, let’s chat.
