Usually, when it’s raining outside, my thoughts immediately go to the combo of this raincoat and the waterproof shoes, and for some reason, that always ends up being pretty casual. Last Saturday (a truly horrid day in terms of weather), I was at an event for Vianel at Barney’s though, so “pretty casual” wasn’t going to cut it. I started with a dress shirt, added the knit blazer and slim, slick pants, and made it a little more fancy with the tie. I had planned on wearing the shoes all along, but then I tried on the raincoat as well, and to my surprise, it looked amazing. I don’t know how my mind hadn’t gone there before, but this just opened to the door to so many more “rainy day looks” featuring this beauty from Stutterheim 🙂
