When it rains, this combo is just unbeatable. Waterproof shoes and coat in black — they look sleek and you literally do not have to care about the rain. I loved pairing it with this awesome pair of jeans from Express. Beautiful fit in a great color 🙂
Ohhh how I love dressing it down from time to time. Don’t get me wrong, I love wearing suits, but looks like this one are just so chill and comfortable and just a way to switch things up. At the end of the day it’s hard to be inspired if you’re doing the same thing every day.
Past days .. sometimes I wish I could just spend a day (or a week) in each of the decades of the 20th century. It’s so immensely interesting to me, and I am well aware that I am not alone with this desire. And for some reason, all the cars from all these era’s seem to always hang out in DUMBO.
Life in color with pops of oxblood together with the new color-blocked Armani Exchange Cardigan 🙂 We found a matching background while we walked around in DUMBO, as so often on the weekends. Let’s talk about the obvious first: I got a new bike. And I happen to like my bikes like my suits — custom-made. Single Bikes is an absolutely awesome site where you can put your own “fixie” together. The trend of fixed bikes is huge since the bike messengers in NYC started riding them.

A few new things in today’s blog post that I combined into the above outfit: for one, a new classic three-button roll-over blazer by Tommy Hilfiger. Three buttons are generally considered to be more traditional than a two-button, but the fact that the third and top button “rolls over” and you can’t see it, makes it a very versatile piece.
