Miraflores

I’M WEARING: Sweater (Armani Exchange) / Chinos (Armani Exchange) / Espadrilles (Stubbs & Wootton) / Shades (John Varvatos)

Miraflores – vermutlich der schönste Teil in der Stadt Lima. Die Umgebung hat uns super gefallen, nahe an allem dran was wir so “gebraucht” haben, wie frisches Obst, den Park an der Küste, oder den Inka Markt, wo wir unser Souvenir-Shopping (und ein Paar Verhandlungen) betrieben haben. Ich hab mich für ein schlichtes und leichtes Sommer-Outfit entschieden, mit der Kombination von dem hellen Rosa des Kaschmir-Baumwoll Pullovers und den intensiv-roten, gemusterten Espadrilles. Die Sohle der Schuhe hat mich zu der beigen Chino Hose geführt, anstelle einer Grünen oder Dunkelblauen. Hätte ich eine weisse Jeans oder Hose dabei gehabt, hätte ich vermutlich die angezogen – das wollte ich nur gesagt haben 😉

Miraflores, probably the most beautiful part of the city of Lima. We enjoyed being in the area, close to all the things we “needed” like a grocery store with fresh (amazing) fruit, the park on the coastline and the Inca Market, where we did some of our souvenir shopping and haggling. I went with a simple, light and summery outfit, pairing the light rose color of the cashmere-cotton sweater with some deeper reds in the elaborate pattern of the espadrilles. The bottom of the latter was the basis for me to go with khaki chinos, over navy or olive ones. Had I had a pair with me, I may have worn white jeans or chinos instead. Just throwing that out there 🙂
