… aaand FYI: I’m 6’2″, with a skinny, athletic body-type, wearing a true US10 or EU43.
It’s a long-lasting love affair between the infamous Mr. B and myself at this point. I remember when ALDO introduced the higher end line in the stores: I’d already been a fan of ALDO, because I thought it was a great score, and then the Mr. B’s collection hit and it was just all sorts of perfect. This season, I get to show you guys three of my favorite pairs from the new collection, a brogue detailed boot, a chelsea boot and a suede monk. All three undoubtedly beautiful. All three styled a little bit differently.
The reddish brown pair of boots are super versatile, and could easily have been worn with a suit instead, but I wanted to show you guys a more dressed down outfit as well, so I went with an unbuttoned shirt over a wool sweater, just peeking out underneath the camel wool coat, paired with ripped denim. The second pair is about as classic a Chelsea boot as they come. All black leather and sole, small heel, and easy slip-in thanks to the elastic fabric on the ankle. I went with a monochrome outfit, but played with the pattern of the pants and sweater to give the look a little more interest. On top of that I layered a button-down with a tie underneath to make it a little more classy. Last but not least, we have the caramel colored suede double-monks, which I dressed up with Bordeaux accents and a casually elegant layered look.
