Ich schätze mich wirklich unglaublich glücklich die Strassen von New York mein Zuhause nennen zu dürfen. Hoffentlich darf ich auch bald wieder in Manhattan selbst wohnen, wovon Lisa und ich dieses Wochenende einen kleinen Geschmack bekommen haben: für zwei Nächte waren wir im JW Marriott Essex House, direkt unterhalb des Central Parks. Ein Mini-Urlaub in Manhattan 🙂 Da mussten wir natürlich auch die ein oder andere Touristen Attraktion besuchen, wie zum Beispiel das historische Naturkunde-Museum. Gestern Abend waren wir sogar auf einer 1,5-stündigen Boots-Tour um die Insel von Manhattan, während wie die Sonne hinter dem Horizont verschwinden gesehen haben. Ein ganz starkes Wochenende 🙂

I consider myself massively lucky to be able to call the streets of New York my home. Hopefully, it will soon be Manhattan again though, which Lisa and I got a taste of this past weekend: for two nights, we stayed at the JW Marriott Essex House, right below Central Park. A mini-stay-cation in Manhattan 🙂 Of course we had to engage in at least a couple of touristy activities. For one, we went to the Museum of Natural History (love that place) and last night we even hopped on a 1.5-hour twilight cruise around Manhattan, whilst watching the sun disappear behind the skyline and ultimately, the horizon. Seriously, a wonderful weekend 🙂
