Guess what guys? It’s #TimeForCoach. I am proud to announce my partnership with a brand that has its deep-seeded roots in this amazing city. Over the next to weeks, I get the pleasure of exploring New York together with you, and my new timepieces from Coach. What better place to start this journey than the High Line Park? From 1934 until the 1960s, the High Line was used to transport cargo from 34th street down to the Meatpacking District. Instead of tearing it down, local activist campaigned for it to be turned into a park that now attracts millions of tourists.
Coach is a proud supporter and donates to the revival and preservation of the New York High Line. In fact, they have held four annual events on the landmark, including their most recent spring 2016 fashion show. It really is one of the most gorgeous areas in the city, and if you haven’t been yet, it’s really worth a visit. We shot this look using the structure as the focal point and inspiration. The outfit itself obviously started with the watch: a quality black leather strap, a luxurious gold case and a modern, white dial. I kept the outfit légère, pairing selvage denim jeans and a black knit sweater with a hounds-tooth blazer — adding suede monk-strap shoes to complete the look. All in all, this look is very straight forward, keeping the focus on quality and simplicity.
