I’m really not the biggest fan of shorts, but I’m trying to change that, just so I have a little more variety in my wardrobe. Nor am I the biggest fan of sandals in general, but I do love these sandals by Allsaints. And it also took me a little while to get used to the wider frame on top, like with these sunglasses. I guess today’s lesson is quite simple: you can learn to like things. Don’t be scared by something because you usually don’t wear it and are just not used to it. Man up and try it at least – you get compliments? Then you might be tempted to wear that more often. Or maybe you don’t get any, but that specific look grows on you and it becomes a part of you. Don’t let habit come in the way of your freedom of fashion.
This is a pretty simple combo – T, shorts and sandals. I liked the stripes in the Shirt; the shorts are neutral, super comfortable, and have a nice detail with the color-blocked contrast waistband; and the sandals aren’t your average flip-flops, but actually fashionable. To add still more interest – wood optic shades by ZeroUV, and several bracelets from Giles & Brother and Tevin Vincent, among others.

Ich bin nicht gerade der grösste Fan von kurzen Hosen, aber ich versuch mich an sie zu gewöhnen einfach um ein bisschen mehr Varietät in meinem Kleiderschrank zu haben. Ähnlich geht’s mir mit Sandalen, obwohl ich die hier von Allseits echt mag. Auch an den weiteren Brillen Rahmen musste ich mich gewöhnen. Was ich Euch heute sagen will ist relativ simpel: Ih könnt Euch an gewisse Stiles gewöhnen, wenn ihr sie nicht gleich von vornherein verbannt. Habt keine Angst einfach was auszuprobieren was neu ist und vielleicht nicht in Eurer “comfort-zone”. Probiert’s einfach und schaut wie die Reaktionen laufen. Vielleicht gefällt’s Anderen und Ihr werdet selbstbewusster, oder es gefällt Euch einfach selbst immer besser. Lasst Eure Mode-Freiheit nicht von Gewohnheit niedermachen.
Das hier ist ‘ne basic Kombo: T-Shirt, Shorts und Sandalen. Das T-Shirt mochte ich wegen den Streifen; die Shorts sind neutral, super bequem und haben ein cooles Kontrast-Detail an der Hüfte; und die Sandalen sind nicht nur irgendwelche Flip-Flops, sondern ein Mode Statement. Um Das ganze noch interessanter zu machen – Holz-Look Sonnenbrille von ZeroUV, und mehrere Armbänder, unter Anderem von Giles & Brother und Tevin Vincent.
