Lately, I’ve been really fond of gingham shirts. At current temperatures it is hard to wear a shirt at all, and especially with denim jacket on top, but this day luckily allowed it. So I wore this grey and black gingham plaid shirt, under a light blue denim jacket. Keeping it pretty basic, I then wore black skinny jeans with it. What make this outfit special in my eyes, is the choice of shoes. I’d say that you would generally expect a sneaker, but I went with these outstanding oxblood fringed tassel loafers! I’m wearing my “F#@k the Time” watch with it, and added a little bracelet, which picks up some of the red and grey tones in the outfit.
I really hope this extreme heat isn’t staying around for too long. I personally would be fine with high 70s…

In letzter Zeit hab ich einiges übrig für Gingham Hemden. Bei den momentanen Temperaturen hier in NYC, ist es eher schwierig ein Hemd anzuziehen, geschweigedenn eine Jeansjacke noch obendrauf, aber dieser Tag hatte es glückerlicherweise erlaubt. Ich habe dieses grau-schwarz karierte Hemd unter meine hellblaue Jeansjacke getragen. Dazu, ganz simpel, eine schwarze Jeans. Das Besondere hier in meinen Augen, sind die Schuhe. Normalerweise würde man Sneakers erwarten, würde ich sagen, aber ich hab mich für diese tollen Oxblood-farbenen Slippers entschieden! Ich trage meine “F#@k the Time” Uhr, mit einem Armband, welches einige der Grau- und Rottöne wieder aufnimmt.
Ich hoffe wirklich, dass diese Hitze bald aufhört. Mit 20-25 Grad rum wäre ich absolut zufrieden.
