Easy Change

Since I now intern at Marc by Marc again, I kind of HAVE TO wear something MBMJ; making it sound like it’s a bad thing, ha. I went with this shirt:

I hadn’t worn it in so long, and this was the first time I wore it with a denim jacket and it kind of changed A LOT for me. A pink shirt, with short sleeves and extra pink buttons can be tough to pull off as a straight guy, but I think the denim jacket adds a lot more masculinity. Overall, I once again wear a denim jacket as a blazer, in combination with chinos, a button down and dress shoes – in this case cognac colored wingtips. I like the combination of neutral shades of blue with the brown tone, and then adding the pink to it. To integrate the brown more into the look, you see it again in the wrist accessories.

Da ich jetzt ja wieder bei Marc Jacobs bin, MUSS ich mehr oder weniger MBMJ tragen; hört sich an als ob’s was schlechtes wäre, ha. An dem Tag hatte ich mich für dieses Hemd entschieden:

Ich hatte es schon so lange nicht mehr an und dieses war das erste Mal, dass ich es mit einer Jeans Jacke getragen habe, was SO VIEL geändert hat für mich. Ein rosa Hemd, kurzarmig mit Pink-farbenen  Knöpfen kann als heterosexueller Mann etwas schwierig sein, aber die Jacke hilft da schon sehr. Insgesamt trage ich die Jeans Jacke wieder mal wie ein Blazer, zusammen mit Hemd, Hose und Anzugschuhen – in diesem Fall Cognac-farbene Wingtip Oxfords. Mir gefällt die Kombination von den neutralen Blau-Tönen mit dem Braun der Schuhe und dann dazu das Pink des Hemdes. Um das Braun noch mehr zu integrieren, sieht man es dann auch nochmal am Handgelenk.
