Orange Vanilla

It’s sunny. It’s summer. It’s time to break out summer-y colors. Here’s what I wore to the Bollare Menswear Event:

Starting off with the white oxford, the orange buttons worked ideally with the new Big Star USA shorts I recently got. The print on the shorts is a white, subtle floral one – trendy, yet not “in your face”. Preppin’ it up just a little bit with a sweater around your hip, or over the shoulders, whatever you feel comfortable with. Shoes are casual, sportsy, but dapper at the same time – the beauty of a wingtip sneaker. Accessories are kept within a dark brown range, most prevalent here are my John Varvatos shades.

Overall, a bright look, perfect for this weather.

Sonne. Sommer. Zeit für die dementsprechenden Farben. Hier, was ich für den Bollare Event angezogen hatte:

Angefangen mit dem Oxford Hemd, habe ich die orangenen Knöpfe mit meiner neuen kurzen Hose von Big Star USA abgestimmt. Der Aufdruck ist nur leicht zu sehen: ein weisser, dünner Blumen-Aufdruck – im Trend, aber in keinster Weise aufdringlich. Das ganze etwas adrett gemacht, mit dem Pulli um die Hüfte oder über die Schultern geworfen, je nachdem womit Ihr Euch wohler fühlt. Die Schuhe sind eher casual und sportlich, gleichzeitig allerdings auch schick – der Vorteil von Wingtip Sneakers. Die Accessoires sind wieder mal in dunkleren Brauntönen gehalten, die dunkelbraune Sonnenbrille fällt hier am Meisten auf.

Insgesamt, ein sehr heller Look, perfekt für das Wetter hier in NYC.
