As I walked through the Topman here in Toronto, I picked a couple of things together that I knew I wanted to shoot – so when I tried this sweater on, a certain idea of the look came to mind, combining modern elements with an overall more 50’s inspired theme.
The sunglasses play a major role for the look, giving it that “cool”. I loved to combined the short sleeve sweater – come on, how awesome is that by the way?! – with a denim vest, dressing it way down. The navy slacks are super skinny, but still very classic, so I decided they were perfect for the look, and the saddles could not match what I went for any more perfectly. I chose to just wear one bracelet with my watch – keeping it real simple.
I know we all do it – but try to make that idea of what you’re looking for in a look that you shop for more specific. You’ll find that what you see in a store can be amazingly inspiring to realize your idea.

Als ich hier in Toronto durch den Topman gelaufen bin, hab ich mir ein paar Sachen zusammen gesucht die ich genau so shooten wollte – als ich diesen Sweater anhatte, kam mir das Bild von einer ganze bestimmten Art von Outfit, die moderne Elemente in ein vorwiegend 50er inspiriertes Schema integriert.
Die Sonnenbrille macht den Look zu dem was er ist und gibt ihm den coolen Flair. Die Kombination von dem kurzarmigen Sweater – kommt schon, wie bombig ist der bitte?! – und der Jeans Weste hat mir super gefallen und der Sweater ist auf einmal was ganz anderes. Die navy Hose ist zwar modern super dlim, aber gleichzeitig noch sehr klassisch, daher perfekt für den Look. Die Schuhe könnten nicht besser passen, und meine Uhr trage ich mit nur einem Armband, um es ganz schlicht zu halten.
Ich weiss wir machen es grundsätzlich alle schon – aber versucht diese Idee von einem Outfit noch mehr zu konkretisieren wenn Ihr durch einen Laden lauft. Wenn ihr so sucht, werdet Ihr sehen wie sehr alles was direkt dort ist inspirieren kann.
